Weber crushed stone finishing is a so-called two-component solution, where a colored mineral cement-based adhesive mixture weber.vetonit 138 is first applied to the base surface, and then natural crushed stone weber SR is thrown into the fresh mixture. Crushed stone finishing is mostly used to finish plinths.

Crushed stone finish can be applied to various mineral substrates. Since it is a thin finishing layer, it is reasonable to level the base beforehand with a cement-based leveling compound, e.g. weber with reinforcing compound. therm 310 or weber.vetonit 137 with plinth leveling plaster. The crushed stone finish can also be used as a decorative layer in the SILS solution. The substrate must be clean, hard and dust-free.
Applying the crushed stone finish to the surface takes place in two stages. To begin with, the mineral adhesive mixture weber.veton 138 must be mixed with clean water until a homogeneous tiling mixture-like mass is achieved. The mixture is then applied to the surface with a mixture comb (e.g. 8x8 mm). Next, the adhesive mixture is smoothed crosswise with the straight edge of the tiling comb in order to achieve a flat layer of adhesive mixture of exactly the same thickness over the entire wall. As a second step, natural crushed stone weber SR is thrown into the fresh mixture. As the last step, the crushed stone must be lightly pressed with a rubber spatula, but at this point the crushed stone must not be pressed too deeply into the mixture.
