6. Limitations: Despite its advantages, particleboard has limitations related to moisture. It can swell and deform when exposed to prolonged moisture.
7. Safety: It is important to take precautions when working with particleboard, as some adhesives used in its production may contain formaldehyde, which can release harmful fumes into the environment.
