weber.therm 305 is a mineral cement-based adhesive mixture for EPS (foamed polystyrene) and XPS insulation boards. In addition, the product can also be used for plastering mineral substrates in a layer of 3...20 mm.

The base must be strong and clean. Dirt, dust, grease, old paint and loose plaster must be removed. Soft and unevenly absorbent substrates must first be primed with weber.prim 400 Tiefgrund.
The adhesive mixture is applied to the back side of the insulation either with a comb (100% adhesive surface between the mixture and the base surface) or the adhesive mixture is installed as an even layer around the entire perimeter of the insulation board and in addition a couple or three mixture pads in the middle of the board. It is important to ensure a minimum of 40% adhesive surface between the mixture and the substrate and to guarantee uniform slab support. The fixing dowel is always installed through the adhesive mixture. When plastering a wall, weber.therm 305 can be applied to the surface both manually and with a plaster pump.
